If you choose an Underfloor Heating Supply system to be installed by our installers, it will prove to be a great choice. We pride ourselves on the knowledge and experience we offer in this field. Our installers have fitted hundreds of our systems, into homes and businesses that have had many different applications and specifications.
What’s included
When we quote for standard installation, we include the following:
- Manifold assembly and installation.
- laying of the UFH pipe by clipping it down to membrane over insulation (other methods are available) on request.
- Filling and pressure testing of the UFH system.
There is always a question of responsibility and a risk of damage to the UFH system when installing screeds and concrete over the pipes. To avoid doubt we also offer the following in conjunction with the standard installation.
- Laying membranes
- Fitting expansion foam to the walls
- Installing pre routed boards (for overlay systems)
- Laying Insulation boards
- Installing insulation blankets (for thin sections)
- Installing screeds
- Installing Concrete
- Installing polished concrete
All the installation products can be supply and install or install only with the exception of polished concrete as this is only available as a supply and install product due to complexities.
Preparation work
For our standard installation our teams expect the sub floor to be ready upon our arrival. Edging strip be fitted as well as any floor insulation together with a membrane above it. Clear access to the manifold position provided. We do not include for building works such as cutting holes through walls, this needs to be completed prior to our arrival.
